- Glass House
GROUND provided the construction materials testing services for this premier luxury
residential project in downtown Denver, CO. The project includes two 23-story towers
constructed over the sculpted podium base of the lower 7 stories. The structure
is founded on a drilled pier foundation system and consists of cast-in-place concrete
columns and post-tensioned floor slabs.

- Spire
The Spire is one of the tallest residential buildings in the Western United States and is located in the central business district of Denver, CO. The project includes a 41-story building composed of a 33-story residential tower arising from an 8-story parking podium with ground floor retail. The structure is founded on a drilled pier foundation system and consists of cast-in-place concrete columns and post-tensioned floor slabs and beams.

- Pinnacle at City Park South
The 20-story residential twin towers of The Pinnacle overlook City Park in Denver,
CO. The development includes several town/park homes, a parking structure and park-style
landscaping. The structure is founded on a drilled pier foundation system and consists
of cast-in-place concrete columns and post-tensioned floor slabs and beams.

- Gateway Office Park
GROUND provided the geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing
for the Gateway Office Park which consists of over 1,300 acres of infrastructure,
and 600,000 square feet of office and warehouse buildings located in Denver,
CO. The typical structure within the office park consists of a single level building
founded on spread footings with a slab on grade and site-cast concrete wall panels.
Most buildings required significant overexcavation in order to reduce differential
post-construction movement.

- Leprino Cheese Factory
The Leprino Facility with over 750,000 square feet is located in Greeley, CO and
constructed on the site of a sugar beet factory established in the early 1900’s.
A bi-product of the sugar beet facility was significant amounts of hydrated lime
that was produced and stockpiled on the site. GROUND provided value engineering
during site grading utilizing the existing hydrated lime material to reduce the
amount of imported fill materials and the size of the lime waste pile. The structure
is approximately 130 feet in height and founded on a deep pile foundation with concrete
precast walls.
