  • Hilton Garden Inn
    The Hilton Garden Inn located in the heart of downtown Denver, CO consists of a 12-story, 225,000 square foot hotel, a three-story parking garage and an indoor swimming pool and fitness center. The foundation construction consisted of a drilled pier and grade beam foundation system with a slab on grade for the below grade level, a structural slab for a portion of the first level, a slab on grade for the driveway and ramp portion of the first level, and post-tensioned slabs for the remaining levels and roof.
  • Staybridge Suites at DIA
    The Staybridge Suites located near the Denver International Airport in Colorado is a 6-story, 108,000 square foot hotel, with an indoor swimming pool and fitness center. The foundation construction consisted of a driven pile and pile cap foundation system with a slab on grade and post tension slabs for the remaining levels and roof. GROUND performed Pile Driving Analyzis (PDA) on numerous piles during pile driving operations and provided visual weld inspection for over 240 pile-splices.
  • Ritz Carlton – Vail
    The Ritz Carlton Residences rises from the very heart of Vail, CO above the banks of Gore Creek, within walking distance to The Eagle Bahn Gondola. With a building footprint of over 80,400 SF, the Ritz Carlton Residences features seven above grade levels of luxurious homes, restaurants, fitness center, entertainment, retail amenities, and an additional two levels of below grade parking. The foundation construction will consist of a pad footing foundation system with a slab on grade. GROUND provided testing services that included observations of the reinforcing steel, post-tension stressing and placement, spray applied fireproofing, and testing of the soils, concrete and masonry in addition to structural steel inspection and observations.
  • Solaris
    GROUND provided geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing for the Solaris project which is the largest development in Vail, Colorado. The 5 star development includes high rise luxury condominiums, underground parking, a movie theater, bowling alley, swimming pool, spa, fitness center and restaurants.
  • Sol Vista Ski Resort
    GROUND provided geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing for numerous improvements at the Sol Vista Ski Resort located in Grand County, Colorado. The improvements included single and multi family residential developments, a golf course facility, and ski area including construction of a high-speed detachable quad ski lift. GROUND provided pavement section design for over 20,000 linear feet of local and collector streets.
  • Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center
    The Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center in Loveland, Colorado included the construction of an eight-story hotel and accompanying conference center consisting of total footprint over 130,000 square feet with associated infrastructure and sitework. The foundation of the hotel structure included 96 drilled shaft concrete piers with a total of eight post tension concrete floors supported by reinforced concrete columns. GROUND provided maturity meters for post-tensioned slabs to minimize curing durations prior to cable stressing.
