  • Stapleton Redevelopment
    GROUND provided the geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing for the premier redevelopment of the vacant Stapleton International Airport in Denver, CO. The former airport site is being redeveloped as the largest new urbanist project in the United States. The redevelopment project included the demolition of the existing airport facilities, runways and infrastructure. The build out includes infrastructure for over 5,000 acres, residential, retail, municipal and commercial vertical construction. Stapleton is expected to be home to at least 30,000 residents, four schools and 2 million square feet of retail. GROUND provided an on-site mobile laboratory to generate lab results rapidly and provide efficient real-time data generation.
  • Colorado Science and Technology Park
    This site in Aurora, CO is undergoing a $4.3 billion transformation into a square mile dedicated bioscience research, education and applied science research campus. The park includes over 6,000,000 SF of medical, research and office buildings and multiple parking structures. GROUND Engineering is providing geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing and special inspection services on this premier project. The project includes remediation and disposal of isolated landfills and asbestos containing material. GROUND provided an on-site mobile laboratory to generate lab results rapidly and provide efficient real-time data generation.
  • Brightwater Development
    Brightwater Club Development is a 963-acre high-end residential and golf course community located in Gypsum, CO just outside of Vail. Construction included over 500,000 CY of earthwork, miles of utility and drainage conduits, asphalt roadways and concrete flatwork. The Eagle River Evaporite deposit lies in the valley below the project site and geotechnical recommendations were provided for potential subsidence issues pertaining to the dissolution of this material.
  • Crossroads Development
    The Crossroad Commons Redevelopment located in Boulder, CO included the redevelopment of an existing inline retail facility. Redevelopment construction was completed while maintaining the current retail traffic. The new retail center included several big box anchor stores as well as inline retail. Significant sitework and complete asphalt rehabilitation was required for the entire project site.
  • Granby Ranch Development
    Located at the base of SolVista Basin Ski Resort in Granby, Colorado, Granby Ranch is a 5,000 acre four-season resort community. The development includes a golf course, club house, multi-level residential lodges, single family residences, retail, restaurant and fitness facility. GROUND provided the geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing throughout the multi-phased development.
